Compact vertical double face grinding machine for soft and hard machining of brake discs for passenger cars or trucks (standard or hard coated (EURO7)) or other similar parts. Since end of 2020 the machine has ground only approx. 30.000 brake disc prototypes for demonstration purposes. Clamping equipment as well as grinding discs for many common brake discs come with the machine.
In addition to that, we can offer a ""cooling process"", which cools the brake disc within approx. 30s from about 200-250°C down to approx. 20°C (depending on the component) after the laser-cladding (hard-coating) process. It works with „normal“ water but even better resp. more sustainable with the emulsion, used for the following grinding process. Thus, the component is better to handle and can be immediately fed into the grinding machine, without transporting too much heat into the process/machine.
